Maja has been climbing since 2010, when she was 7 years old.
She climbed for the first time at the Korona climbing club in Krakow and has been a member of this club until today. During her first climbing years, she was climbing under the eye of Maciek Oczko, currently the best climbing trainer in Poland, who later led her to take part in many international climbing competitions. In 2017, she won third place in the European Youth Bouldering Championships, though recently she gave up serious training and exchanged it for climbing just for herself, for pleasure. Although she no longer “lives on climbing”, it is still important to her, she loves climbing and she’ll probably never stop. She really likes climbing the rocks, so far, she liked Spain the most but she’s hoping to visit other climbing destinations in the future.
