As a wheelchair user, it’s hard to find pants that truly fit — but these have no annoying seams in the back and feel just right. The design looks great, and the integrated belt is super practical both for everyday use and on the rock.

I love wearing them when climbing outdoors — it’s proof that function can feel amazing too..

To me, AGREST is first and foremost a Polish brand created by people who put great effort into crafting high-quality gear without taking shortcuts. It’s not an easy path in today’s market, and I deeply respect that philosophy. AGREST isn’t mass production; it’s about small-scale creations crafted with heart and attention to detail.

I was never a fan of long pants. I’ve always preferred climbing in shorts—even in winter. For me, unrestricted movement is essential, and until recently, I hadn’t found anything that combined real comfort with lasting durability. That changed when I first wore AGREST pants. For lead climbing, the RUNOUT model strikes the perfect balance—freedom of movement and durability exactly where you need it. For bouldering and everyday wear, I rely on the GIBBON ULTRA. I wear them almost daily—they’re incredibly comfortable, and I really like the style. The team at AGREST is exceptional. Their knowledge of the products, materials, and sizing was spot-on. What truly sets them apart is not just the build quality, but the care behind it—each piece is individually stitched, with the option to customize size and color, and if anything happens to your pants, they can even repair them. That’s a whole new level of service.

The AGREST Runout pants have saved my butt more than once. Once, while being lowered, I landed on a thick, dried-up branch sticking upward in Kyparissi—thankfully, the strong Kevlar reinforcements saved me. Another time, I was the only one returning from Wadi Rum with my underwear intact, while my buddies’ pants were shredded by the sandstone. Mine held up. And more than once, the Swiss softshell kept me warm when it was cold, and cool when it was hot.

I won’t even mention about the location of the zippered phone pocket—I've seen phones drop into the abyss, smashed screens, and phones crushed under harnesses. That’s why I love these pants.

MARCIN CIEPIELEWSKI
An artist combining a passion for climbing and photography. Recognized both in Poland and abroad.
As a climbing photographer who spends long hours in the rocks and mountains, I’ve tested many — often expensive, high-end trousers — and I can wholeheartedly recommend AGREST RUNOUT. They are These are the best-thought-out pants I've ever used: incredibly comfortable, durable, and expertly crafted from outstanding materials. They've served me well during major, demanding photo shoots on mountain walls, on sport routes in the crags, and I also love wearing them for casual walks with my dog in the Beskids. On top of that, they look great — which matters to me, because I value gear that’s both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

I’ve always tried to follow my passion — hence my choice to become a climbing and mountain photographer — and I truly value things and actions where that passion is genuinely felt. You can see it in AGREST products: they’re made by people who love the mountains and climbing, and who know exactly what climbers need, thanks to years of firsthand experience.

As an international route setter, I’m constantly moving everywhere. The AGREST pants follow me on all kind of adventure – whether it’s for competitions, bouldering, lead climbing, or traveling from one country to another. They’ve clearly become an essential part of both my gear and my lifestyle. I’ve worn them in all kinds of conditions: grinding off broken screws, rubbing against abrasive volumes on slab climbs, doing big coordination moves, or simply going out for a drink in the city. Very few clothes can handle that level of wear and tear, and even fewer stay comfortable and stylish over time. But the AGREST pants take it all – without flinching. They’re incredibly durable, perfectly cut, and maintain their shape and quality even after intense use. Honestly, I’ve used it a ton, and it’s still going strong – ready for another international setting season. Huge bravooo for creating a product that ticks all the boxes: functionality, durability, comfort, and style. For me, it’s the perfect pair of pants – for work, for climbing, and for everyday life.

Moreover, on every setting job – whether it’s for a competition or commercial route setting – there’s one tool I never forget: my AGREST Routesetter Bag. It’s like my boat in the storm. From morning to night, it’s strapped to my waist, and honestly, I couldn’t do without it anymore. I use it to carry everything I need: screws, spacers, bits, vice grip, screwdrivers, markers… everything is neatly organized in its multiple pockets of different sizes. The belt is super comfortable – which is essential when you spend your whole day up on the wall, climbing up and down, screwing, testing. I’ve worn it on walls all over the world, in every position and under every condition, and it’s never let me down. Even with a drill inside or when the main pocket is fully loaded, it holds up, stays in place, and keeps working. Durable, smart, versatile – this pouch is clearly a core part of my setting kit. It goes everywhere with me.

There are trousers that will last more than many seasons. Trousers that won’t tear in sandstone cracks or mountain chimneys, and won’t give up after years of use. AGREST is a brand that stands for durability—real, proven-on-the-rock durability, not just what’s written on paper. Locally made in Kraków by climbers with serious passion. There are no compromises or coincidences here—every seam, every fabric, every cut is thoughtful and battle-tested. That’s why I’ve trusted AGREST for years.

The RUNOUT model? An absolute classic. After several years of intense use (in the mountains, during courses, on sandstone, etc.), they’re still going strong!
The SKILLER ADR model? Our collaborative project created with cracks and sandstone in mind—indestructible. In a world where everything breaks, Agrest makes things built to last. And in my world, that means a lot.

I’m almost ashamed to admit it, but the only time I’m not wearing my CRUXBREAKER JEANS is when I’m sleeping. I’ve always liked loose, stretchy pants, and I’ve always loved jeans—now I’ve got the perfect combo! My wife still thinks I wear the same pair all the time… little does she know, I actually own four of them! One day I’ll have to confess my weakness. She’s going to be jealous..
